Really like the refrigerator/freezer. Hard to find without an icemaker, (extremely hard water). Works great, seems well made. Hope it lasts 20 years, like my last two.

I chose this refrigerator due to good ratings and the fact that it came in all white which matches my other kitchen appliances. So far it is working great. The things I have noticed that could be better are the top shelf of the freezer section is a little dark, it only comes with three shelves for the refrigerator section even though it is built to hold four, and it is a little louder than my last refrigerator when it is running.

Purchased my refrigerator at the end of December 2025 and could not get the product until the end of January 2026 as I guess White is not a desirable in stock color anymore
Once my refrigerator was delivered I have been extremely happy with it. My previous refrigerator was a 1970s vintage General Electric still running yet having a couple of problems, So it has been quite a nice upgrade. Love having all the additional space.

Had to wait for 3 weeks to get this new fridge because no retailer have this white model in stock.
When it was delivered on Feb 8, 2026, it had its right front wheel missing. Lowes delivery team had to use a piece of wood to level the fridge. They promised to exchange this defective appliance with a new one but I have to wait until March 4 to have it done. All my major appliances are Whirlpool brand. But their products seem losing their quality and value.

Frig delivered on 11/25/25.
CON: There were issues with the ice maker install. Deliverer/installer 1) drilled holes inside freezer that he did not use, and 2) he left before testing the ice maker. Woke up the following morning to a puddle on the floor and no ice cubes. The frig sat in the middle of the floor until 12/15/25 when the repair tech showed up.
PRO: This gal knew what she was doing! She replaced the ice maker, tested it before she left, and filled the holes.
CON: When contacting customer service to resolve the leaking ice maker, the time(s) on hold was excessive.
PRO: I really like this style of frig. When I open the doors visibility of contents is great!
CON: The biggest issue at this point with this unit is that it is louder than I had hoped and it seems to be louder at times than it is at others. Not sure if it's just this unit or an overall model issue.

-should have one more shelf on the fridge side, especially since supports are there
-Overall, it performs well with no serious faults. Will overlook the one "con" if it lasts for a very long time

Purchased a month ago and finally delivered and installed last week. On the whole I am quite satisfied with the unit. The value - functionality ratio seems to be quite good. Knowing that the ice maker is the major problem point with refrigerators we deliberately did not order one. Also my wife wanted a side by side so without an Ice Maker our options were limited. The freezer is quite large relative to the size of the refrigerator side, for us this is great as we cook a lot in advance, but other buyers may prefer more space in the fridge side.
Minor problems though"
1. comes with only 4 shelves so I had to order another for $183
2. Comes with only 3 refrigerator door "storage units" I will have to order a 4th
3. Freezer seems to be running too cold, but my thermometers are giving me different readings so not certain on this point.
4. A trifle noiser than our old fridge, but nothing to get too excited about.

YOU CAN NEVER REACH THE COMPANY; I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF BUYING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS. OUR FRIG HAS DAMAGES THAT ARE CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. THE FRIG IS WORKING BUT I HAVE TRIED TO REPORT PICTURES TO THEM SO THEY ARE AWARE OF IT; THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND THEIR CHAT DOES NOT RESPOND. I NEED A REPLACED FREEZER DOOR BIN THAT WAS BROKEN AND WHITE TOUCH UP PAINT FOR CABINET SCRATCHES. I GAVE THEM A 2ND CHANCE WITH THIS FRIG AS I HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING WITH A FRONT LOAD WASHER. IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND I COULD NOT REACH WHIRLPOOL FOR A WARRANTY CLAIM. I WILL REPORT THEM TO MY STATE'S CONSUMER AFFAIRS AS THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!!

I gave this 2 stars due to the noise level when running. It is LOUD and It is very disruptive. I can actually hear it when I am upstairs in my home. Surely this cannot be normal.
I am happy with the sleek design, no water/ice maker, and cooling power.

I have had this refrigerator for two weeks. I didn't want the ice maker so the size of this is perfect for me and my husband. I like the clean look of the white refrigerator. I do wish there was a lunch meat drawer. I gave it four stars because it is noisy when the compressor runs. I thought it would be quieter than my 30 year old Kenmore and it is, but not by much.

After one week, ice is hanging from the top shelf like an icicle. Repair people are to come out and look at the seal on the freezer of this side by side. It certainly isn't the 35 plus year old Maytag that was my Mom's. We finally had to let it go as it finally cratered. They started talking warranty as soon as they were delivering it.

The refrigerator replaced a very old one. So far it works great. The freezer is consistent and the refrigerator part is roomy. I have several people who use it in one form or another and they have commented that it works just fine.

The layout was very good;color white good, no water dispenser in door a positive. after 2 weeks we called in a Whirlpool warranty technician.He assured us the noise level was normal and not a malfunction. Our vendor would not take it back and so we cut our losses, gave it away and bought a very quiet GE rated highly by CR(79) The Whirlpool was rated by CR in the 60s with numbers of users saying they were dissatisfied because of noise.Next time I will consult CR from the outset. However we were in a bind because our 20 year old fridge stopped working , we needed something right away and the Whirlpool had exactly the same convenient layout as our 20 year old very quiet GE.The cooling/freezing on the Whirpool were fine

We have had the fridge for 4 weeks. We specifically wanted one with no ice maker. To us that is a complete waste of space, and the frigging around with a water supply not worth the bother!
It could do with another drawer and perhaps more flexibility in spacing the shelves. However as one might expect we have figured it out.
It is noisier than we would like and the fan and motor have been replaced with some improvement. The freezer panel that hides them could use some sound/vibration damping. I'm not sure we have even heard the compressor.
No regrets so far. The last one from Sears lasted 22 years and the one before that was still ticking at 30 when we moved. Semi annual vacuuming the radiator coil worth the effort.

The refrigerator is meeting my expectations, however it is a little more noisy than my previous Whirlpool fridge. Also another basket inside the freezer would have been helpful. Providing ice trays was greatly appreciated. My previous Whirlpool fridge was manufactured in 1994 and had an ice maker - this fridge worked great and was replaced because of it™™s age last month.

We like our new refrigerator and it works as expected. We don't use the ice function so I can't attest to that, but the fridge and freezer work great! It's quiet. I knocked off a star because the fridge does not come with leveling feet, so when we open the door, the fridge moves and rolls around. It's pretty annoying actually and I'm wondering if Whirlpool can do anything to fix it. Other than that, the fridge is fine.

From day one this new refrigerator has been a blessing. I switched from a top freezer version, that just did not suit us. I love the size inside for both refrigerator side, and the freezer side. I did purchase an extra door bin for the refrigerator side, which only enhanced my usage. I love this appliance.
From day one we also have not had any problems. Whirlpool is a great brand to trust in any home.
